Overview of the Plumbers' Retirement Savings Fund

Effective 6/1/2014 the Retirement Savings Fund no longer accepts employee elective deferrals. Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, a contribution will be paid in for every hour you work by your employer.

How often are account balances calculated?
The Investment options and your account balance will be valued on a daily basis.

When will I receive statements of my account?
You will receive quarterly statements detailing all contributions, investment returns and (if applicable) transfers and distributions that occurred during the quarter.

What happens to my account if I die?
In the event of your death, your account balance will be paid to your designated beneficiary or beneficiaries. You can elect or change your beneficiary/beneficiaries at any time by completing a new beneficiary form.  If you are married, your spouse is automatically your beneficiary, but this may be changed if both you and your spouse elect otherwise.
